Exciting new spot. *Amazing* cocktails, good wine list, beef tartare was fantastic. Skip Brussel Sprouts on toast though...
The underdog story cocktail (a creative reinterpretation of the old fashioned), beef tartare, and especially the pork belly were spectacular!
I think this is the best new restaurant in LA, 2016. Try the avocado salad, beef tartare, hamachi collar, and pork belly. Cocktails are inventive. Get a seat at the bar to try their sacred pie.
2. Bestia
Tartufo pizza is excellent. And the beef heart tartare is delicious and huge!
Start with the drink Refreshing. Cavatelli is a must. Beef Heart Tartare, Octopus Carpacio, Mussels, spaghetti Mancini, Orata, Zeppole & Chocolate Budino.
The pizza n' duja was tasty and nicely spiced. Veal tartar and quail were also great.
3. Hinoki & The Bird
Fantastic food & great space! Highlights include crab toast, pumpkin toast, beef tartare & black cod. Kale salad was bland, lobster roll was nothing special & didn't love desserts. Great meal overall!
My new fave place in LA. There is (amazing) food for everyone. Beef tartare is amongst the best I ve had, and black cod is - wait for it - better than nobu. So tender. Great vibe

Big mec! It's good but so heavy. I ended up only eating a quarter of it. The steak tartare is interesting, not a big fan. The flambé pasta is surprisingly refreshing and zesty. Fries were meh.

Tuna tartar, hamachi crudo, Burrata, fries with aioli, ravioli, risotto were all very good. Dessert: strawberry & cream, chocolate cake, vanilla pudding
This place is amazing, lovely patio, great cocktails, great staff. Brussels sprouts, the hamachi, the tartare, the scallops were the best!!

6. Polo Lounge
The best place for steak tartare in LA!
As you would expect, nothing but the best. Try the Steak Tar Tar, as there are few places that serve this dish anymore. Also Holidays at the Lounge are truly a lovely affair.

Absolutely delicious spicy tuna tartar and zucchini chips, and mouthwatering seared scallops, pork chops and roasted chicken! Don't leave w/o devouring your ice cream. Totally perfect service

Best way to describe this place is like eating in an minimalist art museum. The plating and bowls are gorgeous as is the space. Love the chicken confit but not the beef tartare as much.

fine, not fabulous like everyone raves. i did enjoy the bucatini and steak tartare but my pants didn't bust off or anything.
Everything we had was amazing but my taste buds really enjoyed the aged beef tartare along with the neurons cocktail...
Fun spot but portions too big. Ordered the tartare and tuna / watermelon thinking I was having a couple small plates. Both were huge. Bar service spotty at best also. Feel like it used to be better.

Food is great (especially the tuna tartare). Medium-high prices. Excellent staff and service. The rooftop has an amazing atmosphere. Also: great cocktails (if you enjoy vodka, try the Lolita!).
Very sceany. Get the tuna tartar, octopus and scallops!

We loved every single dish we ordered. Great service! Our favorites were pizza margherita, meatloaf, halibut, meatballs, ahi tartar, and chocolate waffle sundae dessert.
Fried calamari & burrata , Shrimp Diavolo and make it pink sauce Amazingly tasty ! Mushroom Truffle pizza is a must. The chocolate pizza for dessert.

Everything is great. My faves are the Shrimp Cocktail, Ahi Tartare, Lobster Roll, Roasted Halibut and Crab Louie. Incredibly fresh and just lightly dressed to bring out the natural flavors. Yum!
I'd suggest kicking it off with the una tartare for sure! The salads are great as well! Great quality seafood!
Fresh quality fish market with a set of tables serving excellent and tasty signature dishes. Try to Tuna tartare and Cioppino.
